Oscar Wilde is absolutely, resoundingly worth every bit of hype he receives. It’s tough when an author is so highly rated, you start feeling like maybe they deserve less praise than they have already recieved, but Oscar Wilde, is somehow still underrated. His writing delights.

The Picture of Dorian Gray is his most famous work. It’s a good one to read when you’re lovesick. I would personally recommend reading this one and then immediately going to the library and getting all his other work.
